Dean is Chief Marketing Officer of Velocity Frequent Flyer the successful loyalty program of the Virgin Australia Group.
Velocity is a platform business that connects an array of Australia’s largest brands from Virgin Australia, Coles, BP, CBA, ANZ, Westpac, and American Express amongst others with a currency, loyalty program and 8.5 million members through creativity, data and technology to inspire action and meet partner and member goals.
Appointed by the board to lead the marketing capability to become Australia’s most loved loyalty company, Dean is responsible for taking a bold, inspiring and future leaning approach to the business.
Dean is leading the transformation within Velocity using his global knowledge of loyalty, digital, CRM, strategy gained over a 25 year period.
Prior to this role he spent many years in various general management roles across the globe for American Express gaining a deep understanding of financial services, credit card management, product development and delivering an innovation agenda.
He has led numerous large scale, multi-market, complex digital transformation projects and is regarded as a high impact senior executive known for execution and delivering growth.
