ADMA is proud to support our parent organisation ACS, in being a gold sponsor of the TechDiversity Awards. The Awards recognise individuals and groups that have demonstrated leadership and embraced inclusion by raising awareness and promoting diversity initiatives and programs. These people have displayed outstanding expressions of leadership, behaviour, initiatives, commitment and courage, key touchstones needed to embrace inclusion and drive diversity.

There are several award categories which individuals and organisations can nominate for, with one in particular focusing on Marketing, Media and Advertising.

Marketing, Media, and Advertising initiatives have utilised the power of marketing, media, and/or advertising to support diversity initiatives, promote diversity, or change traditional ways of thinking about Tech and the industry itself.

This is the category for you if you work:

  • Any organisation that has created a marketing / media / advertising campaign to promote diversity and inclusion
  • An agency that has created a marketing / media / advertising campaign to promote diversity and inclusion
  • An academic institution that has created a marketing / media / advertising campaign to promote diversity and inclusion
  • A government agency that has created a marketing / media / advertising campaign to promote diversity and inclusion

Maybe you work for an agency that has developed a campaign to promote D&I as way to inspire innovation. Maybe you work in marketing and actively look at ways for your projects to be accessible?

In real terms, what might this look like? Below are some previous winning submissions:

  • A campaign that encourages and inspires the Australian LGBTI community to bring their authentic selves to work each and every day.
  • A live / online TV and podcast series that focuses on startup culture, innovation and future technology.
  • An advertising campaign that promotes inclusion.

You have until the 16th December 2021 to make a nomination.
