Group Buying Code of Practice & Merchant Guide

The Australian Group Buying Code of Practice was developed to set standards of conduct for group buying organisations, minimise the risk of breaching legislation and to provide consumers with a complaint handling framework that encourages fast resolution of established issues.

The Australian Group Buying Code of Practice sets out basic common sense requirements. The Code promotes fair trading and is intended to serve as a point of reference for signatories to ensure that they comply with applicable commonwealth laws.
