Congratulations to the WA Certificate course Dux ‘s

September’s successful WA branch event on social media also provided an opportunity to recognise the outstanding performances of the two top students from semester 1: Paul Bridle, from the iinet Direct Marketing team (Multi-Channel Direct Marketing Certificate) and Chris Hardwick, Project Marketing Manager from Landcorp (Digital Marketing Certificate).

Paul came top of his class with an overall mark of 92.8% while Chris topped his class with 80%. Both were awarded a plaque recognising their achievement as Dux of their course.

After the event they were asked about their views on the course. Both felt it had benefitted them in their work & professional development, as Chris Hardwick explained “The course ensured that my skills remain up to date and relevant. Digital marketing is something that has to be learnt through practical experience and the ADMA course gave me the building blocks to start to achieve my digital marketing goals.” Paul Bridle said that the course had particularly helped him understand those aspects of direct marketing which were not currently part of his role and enabled him to obtain a new job in a new industry.

They felt that their organisations would benefit from the learning they got both through the course material and insights from other students in the class sharing their knowledge and experience. Chris said he would recommend the Digital Marketing Certificate to anyone who wants to move into a career with a digital marketing focus. The same applies for Paul to which he adds “It’s like work experience where you can gain valuable skills and decide where your areas of strength are.”

Both certificate courses are being offered again in Perth in November in an intensive format – 2 blocks of 2 days (Nov 3-4 & Nov 17-18) with 1 additional day for assessments (Dec 1). For details go to http://www.adma.com.au/education/certificates/.
