State Winners - ADMA Young Creative & Young Marketer
24 August 2012
Association for data-Driven Marketing & Advertising (ADMA) announced today in front of over 400 delegates at the ADMA Forum Marketing Conference 2012, the State winners of the Young Creative of the Year and Young Marketer of the Year – the competition for marketers, advertisers and creatives aged 30 and under.
"The competition was launched together with our new 30Below community and is to inspire young marketers and creatives and give them a chance to showcase their talents on a national scale" said Jodie Sangster, CEO, ADMA. "We have some incredible young talent in Australia and we need to ensure that is recognised".
Entrants had to showcase their marketing and creative talents and demonstrate what makes them stand out from the crowd. Young Marketer of the Year is judged based on their career achievements to date and Young Creative of the Year showcasing their artistic talents by developing a campaign concept for 2013. The winning campaign will be rolled out nationally in 2013.
"Young Creative was a tough category and in one instance the NSW entries were too close to call and our judges have awarded State Finalist Young Creative to both Leisa Ilander, OgilvyOne and Damon Porter, a Freelancer and in another instance although the entries were strong we were not able to award a winner in Tasmania and South Australia" said CEO Jodie Sangster.
