Jodie Sangster was appointed CEO on July 1, 2011 after relocating from the Direct Marketing Association in New York.
Originally from the UK, Jodie worked with the UK Direct Marketing Association having responsibility for both UK and European regulatory affairs. She moved to Australia in 2001 as ADMA’s Director - Legal & Regulatory Affairs, playing a pivotal role in the development of key legislation such as the Spam Act, Do Not Call Register Act and APEC Privacy Principles.
Jodie joined Acxiom as Chief Privacy and Compliance Officer and moved with them to the US in 2007 before joining the DMA in New York in 2009 as Senior Vice President of Education & Global Development.
Melina has 16 years experience in the regulation of the telecommunications industry and in privacy legislation.
Melina is specifically engaged with those areas of legislation that are relevant to the direct marketing industry including the Privacy Act, the Spam Act, the Do Not Call Register Act, the Trade Practices Act and fair trading legislation.
John Sedgwick joined ADMA as Financial Controller in early 2001 after a lengthy commercial career in a variety of industries.
He is a Chartered Accountant and Bach. of Economics from Sydney University and was previously the Finance Director of the diversified Inchcape PLC group in Australia. He has also consulted widely to companies involved with recruitment, travel, sport and recreation, education and retail. He is a golf nut.
Matt joined ADMA in March 2009 after managing events for private, commercial and government organisations over a 10 year period.
Before turning to events and becoming a family man he worked in hotel management in Australia, Canada and the UK to fund backpacking adventures through Africa, Europe and the sub continent.
Richard Pester has over two decades of experience in direct and digital marketing in Australia and the UK specialising in database management, the use of data in marketing, B2B marketing and strategy.
He has worked in agencies including Brann UK and Leo Burnett, data suppliers such as Claritas UK as well as client-side for Lenovo. He was ADMA’s Head Tutor for four years before becoming Director of Education & Training in 2009.
Annette has over 20 years experience in Corporate Sales & Marketing for several large multinational organisations including IBM and American Express.
Prior to joining ADMA Annette was involved in her own retail business and most recently in the start up of an environmentally friendly organisation. Annette has a young family and enjoys running.
