My name is Jodie Sangster and I am the new CEO of ADMA effective from today.  

As my first priority I’d like to introduce myself to all ADMA Members [and the marketing community] and briefly outline my objectives and how I plan to ensure ADMA supports you and your organization.

I believe ADMA is invaluable to the growth of the Australian marketing community and has a critical role to play in supporting and developing our industry as we face unprecedented change.

As the CEO, my role will be to ensure that ADMA is a powerful ally to its members and delivers real, tangible member value on a day-to-day basis.  I will ensure ADMA represents and supports data driven, accountable marketers who seek to engage customers across all channels and technologies.  Digital marketing and customer-engagement has redefined our industry - it is critical that ADMA reflects this change through our focus, representation, member support and the services we deliver.

Over the next twelve months, I plan to deliver a range of value added member benefits which will include:

  • A “Members-Only” Marketing Hub designed to provide a range of valuable resources, including access to the latest thought leadership, trends, research, technology and conversations around direct, digital and data-driven marketing from around the world.
  • The launch of the ADMA online training centre allowing marketers access interactive, professional training anywhere, anytime.
  • Increase awareness of critical marketing issues and ADMA by leading the debate and contributing more consistently and visibly to public discussions that impact our industry
  • Work closely with our membership around Australia to identify and fulfil key needs and requirements whilst meeting our charter
  • Ensuring we maintain pre-eminence with government and regulatory authorities as they create policies that impact our Members.

I believe my global experience gives me a unique perspective on our industry and in particular, the role ADMA has to play in supporting and developing the marketing community. I have gained valuable insight into global marketing trends as well as the challenges and opportunities facing our industry – all this will stand me in good stead to lead ADMA and represent our membership.

ADMA is in a strong position.  It is the largest marketing body in Australia, has access to the best marketers in the country and is poised to grow even further as it builds relevancy among an even greater number of organisations.

I look forward to working with you and strongly encourage your involvment with ADMA.  I welcome your thoughts, input and feedback regarding ADMA, your membership and the services we deliver.
